Last update Monday 18 June 2018
Jeanne DACHARY-BERNARD

Researcher, Irstea Bordeaux

Jeanne Dachary-Bernard is researcher in economics at Irstea, centre of Bordeaux, on the multidisciplinary team ETBX (Environment, Territory and Infrastructure). Recruited in 2006 after a Phd in economics dealing with the economic valuation of landscape, she is interested in the link between environmental preservation and development issues in coastal and peri-urban areas. Her research in microeconomics is more particularly involved in the analysis of land use changes, their value in land markets, and their implications regarding the spatial localisation of activities. Her work focuses on the influence of the environmental factors and in particular environmental risks, on individual residential choices.
