Christopher REYER

Christopher Reyer is a sustainability scientist and his work is focused on climate change impacts on forests using forest models. He has a Double-Master degree in Forest and Nature Conservation from Wageningen University and in Forest and Agricultural Science from the University of Eastern Finland. He holds a PhD in Geography from the Humboldt University in Berlin. His main research interests relate to uncertainties in forest modelling, adaptation of natural resource management to climate change as well as climate impact science and development - all considered from a socioecological systems perspective. He was the project leader and coordinating lead author of the "Turn Down the Heat" report for the World Bank and is currently leading the COST Action PROFOUND as well as the forest model comparisons within the Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project (ISI-MIP).
