Paul Armsworth

Paul Armsworth is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he is also an Associate Director of NSF’s National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis. Paul’s research examines conservation efforts that are intended to protect biodiversity and to enhance ecosystem services. To do so, Paul combines techniques from ecology and economics and collaborates closely with a range of public agencies and conservation nonprofits.
