Functional areas of fishery resources and connectivity - Nathalie CAIL-MILLY

Last update Friday 09 May 2014

Numerous fishery resources have to frequent various habitats (lagoon, estuary, continental slope... ) to accomplish their life cycle. This is true for diadromous species but also for marine species such as common sole, meager, ....
Those habitats are used to realize biological functions. The success of those functions depends on the ecological quality of the habitats and on the connectivity between them.
The presentation will develop those aspects providing examples of regional fishery resources.
