Ivan ASCHER

Ivan Ascher is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where he teaches courses in modern and contemporary political theory. His research is on the continued relevance of Karl Marx and Max Weber for the study of contemporary capitalism and the study of neoliberal finance, specifically. He is the author of Portfolio Society: On the Capitalist Mode of Prediction, published by Zone/MIT Press in September 2016.
