Isabelle Baldi is the co-director of the team: Epidemiology of cancer and environmental exposures (EPICENE) of the institute Institute of Public health of Epidemiology and development (ISPED). Her research focuses on the epidemiology of cancers and environmental health. She studies main factors explaining disparities in cancer diagnosis and survival such as screening, stage at diagnosis, socio-economic status, geographical location... Isabelle Baldi is also interested by the importance of accurately defining environmental exposures to better quantify the risks. She addresses these two crucial methodological issues in order to apply them to study the environmental epidemiology of cancers.
