Elisa MARGUERIT

Last update Monday 18 May 2015

Elisa Marguerit is assistant professor in Viticulture at Bordeaux Sciences Agro, which mahes part of Bordeaux University's Institut des Sciences de la vigne et du vin. Elisa conducts research on approaches combining ecophysiology and quantitative genetics applied to grapevine and its drought adaptation. Elisa has shown that the scion transpiration is genetically controlled by the rootstock. This control was demonstrated in a pot experiment. Her work highlighted that the water extraction capacity was different between rootstock.
