Xavier DE MONTAUDOUIN
Xavier de Montaudouin is associated professor at University of Bordeaux and is in charge of ECOBIOC team (Ecology and Biogeochemstry of Coastal System) at the UMR EPOC 5805. ECOBIOC is part of the Labex COTE consortium. Xavier de Montaudouin‘s PhD (1995) was focused on benthic marine population dynamics and diversity. After his postdoc in Denmark, he devoted part of his research to parasite-host interactions, using marine molluscs and trematodes as scientific key-species. His HDR (2005) comforted this scientific orientation and he recently enlarged his interests by collaborating with microbiologists and ecotoxicologist in order to assess the effect of multiple stressors on bivalve fitness. He has been principal investigator of national programmes (including one ANR and two LITEAU projects) and international collaborations, mainly with Morocco and Portugal. Xavier de Montaudouin contributed to 70 peer-reviewed papers and 110 communications (Hindex=23). He (co-) supervised 7 PhD students and has a full-time teaching position.
